QUIET MOUNTAIN LODGE
Looking for an alternative to the crowds and noise? Get-away to Sequoia! Enjoy the altitude without the attitude in the laid-back atmosphere of California's original National Park. Wuksachi Lodge, nestled on the western slope of the Sierras in Sequoia National Park, is blanketed with 12-15 feet of snow each winter. The perfect location for friendly, customer service oriented people who can appreciate the quiet solitude of a cross-country ski through the giant sequoia redwoods.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

 There's lots of snow! But don't look for a big downhill ski resort. This is strictly cross-country, snow shoeing and family sledding.

There's nothing quite like a fresh new snowfall…unless it's shoveling a fresh new snowfall. Every employee cabin comes with a snow shovel…for free! Although we have snow removal equipment, employees are expected to keep their porch and car parking space shoveled along with their fair share of on-the-job shoveling when necessary. Cars must be winterized and in working order.

Housing is small insulated, heated cabins, a roommate should be expected. There are no cooking facilities, however, employee meals are excellent and quite affordable.

Employees must be adaptable and capable of getting along with everyone. Flexibility with work schedule and position comes in handy. Employees should be prepared for cross training.

Business levels can drop during heavy snowstorms resulting in work hours being shortened. This would be a good time to bring out that good book you've been saving, watch a movie in the rec room or help plan the next moonlight ski & BBQ!
