Kings Canyon and Sequoia
"Divine peace glows
on all the majestic landscape."
- John
Muir
It is easy to see why John Muir devoted his life to preserving the majestic beauty of the Kings Canyon area. This is an ideal place to spend your summer, working in the impressive Kings Canyon National Park and the Giant Sequoia National Monument! Our company has three guest facility areas: Grant Grove Village, nestled among a huge grove of giant sequoia trees; Cedar Grove Village, located near the heart of the Kings River deep in the canyon; and Stony Creek Village, a serene lodge in the Giant Sequoia National Monument.
About Us ...
We are Kings Canyon Park Services Company, a concessionaire working under contract with the National Park Service and the US Forest Service to give our visitors a memorable stay. We operate lodges, restaurants, gift shops, and grocery markets in Kings Canyon National Park and the Giant Sequoia National Monument. We hire over 80 seasonal employees to work each summer in our facilities. Our summer season is Memorial Day through Labor Day with the peak business June through August. We also operate Grant Grove year-round.
Our primary goal is to provide the highest quality service to our guests while protecting park resources and teaching our employees to preserve nature for public enjoyment, with assistance from the National Park Service. In addition to our orientations and National Park Service training, we encourage employee volunteerism for bear management.
